Saying “next” doesn’t move to the next step
Check that the microphone button at the bottom left is green. Grey means it is off. The first time you turn it on, you need to allow both microphone and speech recognition access; if you declined, you can turn them back on in Settings ▸ Geusaie. Voice recognition listens only for the word “next”, and it may struggle in a very noisy room. In that case, tap the Next button at the bottom.
A pot is done but I got no notification
Check that notifications are on in Settings ▸ Notifications ▸ Geusaie. A Focus mode can silence the sound. Notifications arrive only when a pot finishes. Prep work (slicing, grating) never nags you.
I started late. What happens to the schedule?
It is recalculated from when you actually did things. If you turn on the heat 3 minutes late, the tasks after it slip by 3 minutes too, and the sauce is timed backward from the moment the pasta comes out. If you miss a task with a deadline (such as lifting the pasta), it tells you you’re late.
The text is too small
Tap the aA button at the top right of the cooking screen and choose Normal, Large, Larger, or Largest. Your choice is saved for next time.
Does the screen turn off while I cook?
No, the screen stays on while you cook. We designed it so you never need to touch the screen with wet hands.
Please add more recipes
There are two for now: aglio e olio and tomato cream pasta. Any dish with two pots running at the same time is a good fit. Tell us in an issue and we’ll take a look.
