Privacy Policy
In short: Dream Seeker does not collect personal data.
- There is no account or sign-in, and no servers run by the developer.
- Your dreams, notes and the photos you choose are stored only on your device.
- The app uses no third-party SDKs for ads, analytics or tracking.
1. Information stored on your device
To make the app work, the following is stored only on your device. The developer cannot access it, and it is never sent anywhere.
- The dreams you add, their steps and your checklist progress
- Your answers to questions and your progress notes
- Photos you choose for notes or as a dream's cover image
- Display settings and whether you have finished onboarding
2. Photos
The app only receives photos you pick yourself in the iOS photo picker. It does not access your whole photo library, and the photos you pick are kept only in the app's storage on your device.
3. Internet connections
Some background photos are downloaded from Unsplash (unsplash.com). The only thing sent is a photo search term such as "iceland aurora". Nothing you write and no device information is included. Maps are shown with Apple Maps. Like any internet request, both services may receive your IP address, and each follows its own privacy policy.
4. Payments
The app has no purchases. The developer does not receive your name, email or payment details.
5. Sharing with third parties
Because the developer does not collect personal data, none is shared with or processed by third parties.
6. Retention and deletion
You can delete dreams and notes in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device. If iCloud Backup or computer backups are on, this data may be included in your Apple device backup along with other app data.
7. Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
8. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or Instagram, your message and the contact details needed to reply are used only to answer you.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Any change that would involve collecting data will be announced before the app update ships.
