Summary. CoolTime has no sign-up and uses no ads, tracking tools or third-party analytics. Your cooldown items and usage history are stored only on your device. The only things sent to the developer are anonymous usage statistics and error reports used to fix the app, and feedback you send yourself.
The following information is kept only in the app's storage on your iPhone and is not sent to any developer server. The developer does not run a server.
If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it. If you delete an item in the app, the item and its records are deleted.
If you allow notifications, the app sends local notifications scheduled on your device for when a cooldown ends. Nothing is sent outside your device for notifications, and the rest of the app works the same if you don't allow them.
When you send feedback from Send feedback in Settings (including when you continue to send it after the app asks how you like it), the following information reaches the developer through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) storage.
Feedback is used only to reply and improve the app and is not passed on to other companies. If you don't send it yourself, no feedback is sent. Sending feedback requires an iCloud sign-in, and you can also send it by email instead. To have feedback you sent deleted, tell us at the contact address below.
To know how many people use the app and to fix errors, CoolTime sends the following anonymous statistics to Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). Only the developer reads them.
These do not include user content such as your name, contact details, location, cooldown items, usage history or amounts. They are sent only when your device is signed in to iCloud.
CoolTime is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If the policy changes, we update this page and the effective date above. Changes that involve sending new data are also noted in the app update notes.
