Not My Tempo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

Microphone & speech

The app uses your device's microphone for three things: recognizing voice commands, detecting the tempo of nearby music, and the chromatic tuner.

Speech recognition runs on-device (requiresOnDeviceRecognition). Audio is processed locally and is not sent to Apple or to us.
Audio is analyzed in real time and is never recorded, saved, or uploaded. Nothing leaves your device.

Data we store

The only thing the app saves is your last-used settings (tempo, time signature, subdivision), kept locally on your device so the app remembers them next launch. This never leaves the device and is removed if you delete the app.

Network

The app does not require an internet connection and does not send data over the network.

Children

The app is safe for all ages and collects no information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
