Privacy Policy

ThinkFlow · Effective date: October 8, 2026 · Last updated: October 16, 2026

In short: the thoughts you write in ThinkFlow never leave your device.
There’s no sign-up, no advertising and no external analytics service. The only things that reach the developer are anonymous usage statistics and error reports that can’t be traced back to you, and whatever you choose to send yourself with “Send Feedback.”

1. Personal information we collect

ThinkFlow has no sign-up, and while you use the app it doesn’t collect or send to any server personal information such as your name, email address, location or device identifiers. App usage is measured only through the anonymous statistics described in section 4.

The other exception is when you send something yourself from Send Feedback in the Settings screen. In that case, the following is delivered to the developer:

Feedback reaches the developer through Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) storage and is used only to answer your message and improve the app. So that replies to your feedback can be shown in the app, an anonymous identifier that iCloud issues solely for the feedback storage is used along with it. This identifier can’t reveal your Apple Account or your name.

2. How your data is stored

Everything you create in the app (thoughts, notes, bridge sentences, attached references and thinking-time records) is stored only in the following places:

This data is never sent over the network, and no one, including the developer, can access it.

3. Third parties and external services

ThinkFlow does not use third-party services such as advertising SDKs, external analytics services or social login, and does not share or sell any information it collects to third parties. iCloud (CloudKit), which delivers feedback and the anonymous usage statistics and error reports, is storage operated by Apple, and Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to it.

4. Anonymous usage statistics and diagnostics

To understand how many people use the app and to fix bugs, the app sends the following anonymous statistics to the developer’s Apple iCloud (CloudKit) storage. Only the developer can read them.

These never include your name, contact details, location, or the content of your thoughts and notes. They are sent only while you are signed in to iCloud. Up to the 20 most recent diagnostic reports are also kept on your device so they can be reviewed.

In addition, if you’ve agreed in iOS Settings to share diagnostic data with app developers, Apple may pass anonymized crash reports on to the developer. You can change this at any time under Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

5. Backing up and deleting your data

6. Children’s privacy

ThinkFlow doesn’t collect anyone’s personal information while the app is in use, including children’s. The anonymous usage statistics in section 4 contain nothing that could reveal who is using the app. If we learn that information received through feedback belongs to a child, we delete it right away.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes (for example, if a new feature changes how data is handled), we will post the update on this page and revise the effective date.
