Geusaie does not collect personal information. There is no account, no login, no ads, and no third-party analytics. Your recipes and cooking history never leave your device. To learn how many people use the app and to fix errors, it sends only anonymous usage statistics and error reports.
We do not collect personal information. We do not collect or transmit your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or photos. The developer cannot tell what you cooked. The only things that leave your device are the items listed under “Anonymous usage statistics” below.
To learn how many people use the app and to fix errors, Geusaie sends the following anonymous statistics to Apple iCloud (CloudKit). Only the developer can read them.
These do not include anything you create, such as names, contacts, locations, or recipes. They are sent only while you are signed in to iCloud.
These values are stored on your device and are deleted when you delete the app.
When you turn on the microphone on the cooking screen, the app uses speech recognition to catch a single word, “next”.
The app uses only local notifications created on your device to tell you when a pot is done. It does not use a push server, and notification content never leaves your device.
The app contains no third-party code of any kind, including ad networks, analytics tools, and crash reporting tools. Anonymous usage statistics and error reports are sent to Apple iCloud by a shared library the developer wrote (LeeoKit) and are not passed on to any other company. We do not track you.
The app is not directed at children, and it collects no one’s personal information regardless of age. The anonymous usage statistics cannot be traced to any individual.
Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. Anonymous usage statistics are not linked to you, so a specific person’s data cannot be singled out. Settings stored on your device are all deleted when you delete the app, and reinstalling creates a new random ID.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the last-updated date above.
