Snap the daycare or preschool schedule, get the whole month as calendar events and reminders
Running into a problem, or have an idea for a feature? We'd love to hear from you anytime.
We usually reply within 2–3 days. It helps if you include your device model and iOS version.
Three formats are supported: ① monthly calendars (grid layout), ② parent newsletters (written notices), and ③ one-off notices or flyers. For the best results, shoot straight on so the text comes out sharp. You can also pick several photos and scan them all at once.
Handwriting and faint print can be hard to read. You can fix the title, date or items to bring right in the list of results, and swipe to delete anything you don't need. To add a missing event, enter it yourself in the Scan tab and save again.
By default, at 8:00 PM the evening before (to get things packed) and at 7:30 AM that morning. In Settings (⚙️) you can also turn 1-hour-before and on-time reminders on or off. If reminders aren't coming through, check that notifications are allowed under iPhone Settings > Notifications > Kids Schedule.
Add as many children as you like in Settings, each with their own profile photo. When you scan, choose whose schedule it is, and the calendar color-codes each child. You can switch between the combined view and a filter for each child.
The Share button (↑) in the Calendar tab gives you three options. ① Send to Kids Schedule Users: if your partner also uses Kids Schedule, just opening the file fills in the children's profiles and events, and schedules the reminders automatically. ② Calendar file (.ics): opening the file adds the events to their default calendar. ③ Text summary: a quick summary to send over any messaging app. You can also turn on calendar mirroring, which creates a "[child's name] Daycare" calendar. Share that calendar through iCloud in the iOS Calendar app, and new events will sync to your family automatically from then on.
No. All analysis happens on your device (Apple Vision), and your data is stored only on your device. Your events are shared only if you invite other people with Schedule Sharing, and then only through your own iCloud with the people you invited. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
