Privacy Policy

Effective: August 20, 2026 · Last updated: October 16, 2026

Kids Schedule (the "App") takes your privacy seriously. The App does not collect or send personal information such as photos, events or details about your children to the developer. By default, this data is processed and stored only on your device. The only things the developer receives are anonymous usage statistics and error reports that can't identify you (see Section 4), and feedback you choose to send from Settings (see Section 5).

The one exception: if you invite other people under Schedule Sharing yourself, your schedule data is stored in your own iCloud account and shared with the people you invited. See Section 3 for details. Schedule Sharing is optional — if you leave it off, your photos, events and children's details never leave your device.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect personal information. Everything below is stored only on your device. (Anonymous usage statistics that can't identify you are covered separately in Section 4.)

2. How We Use Device Permissions

3. Schedule Sharing (Optional, iCloud)

When you use "Invite People" under Settings > Schedule Sharing to invite your partner, grandparents, a babysitter or anyone else, you and the people you invite can view and edit the same schedule together. This has nothing to do with Apple's Family Sharing, whether or not you've set it up. This feature uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) sharing. The developer cannot see or keep anything that is shared.

4. Anonymous Usage Statistics and Error Reports

To understand how many people use the App and to fix bugs, the App sends the following anonymous statistics to the developer's Apple iCloud (CloudKit) storage. Only the developer can read them.

This never includes your name, contact details, location, or anything you enter such as photos, events or your children's details. Statistics are sent only while you're signed in to iCloud.

5. Sharing with Third Parties

The App never sells personal information or provides it to third parties for advertising purposes. It uses no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics services and no developer-run servers. Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) infrastructure is used only when you turn on Schedule Sharing and to send the anonymous statistics and error reports described in Section 4.

Feedback: Feedback is sent only when you send it yourself with "Send Feedback" in Settings. The category you choose, what you write, and your App version, iOS version, device type and device language are delivered to the developer's Apple CloudKit storage. Your name and email are included only if you enter them yourself to get a reply. Your events, children's details and photos are never included. Feedback is used only to reply to you and improve the App. If you'd like yours deleted, let us know at the contact address below.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your photos, events and children's details live on your device, deleting the App deletes all of the data it stored. If you use Schedule Sharing and the person who sent the invite taps "Stop Sharing", the people they invited no longer receive new events. Shared data stored in iCloud is cleaned up when the person who sent the invite stops sharing or deletes the App. Events added to Apple Calendar can be managed and deleted directly in the iOS Calendar app.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is a tool for parents and caregivers, and it does not collect children's personal information. The children's names and photos you enter are never sent to the developer. With Schedule Sharing on, your children's names and events go only to people you invited yourself and who accepted.
