Summary
DontGoMart has no accounts and uses no advertising or tracking tools. The stores you pick, the stores you add, your restaurants and your reminder settings all stay on your device. The only things the developer receives are anonymous usage statistics that cannot identify you, and feedback when you choose to send it.
1. Information stored on your device
To make the app work, the following is stored on your device only. A copy sits in the app’s shared container on your device so the Home Screen widgets can show it.
- The stores and regions you pick
- Stores you add yourself (name and closing rule)
- Your restaurants (name, address, regular days off, map link)
- Reminder settings (how many days ahead, at what time) and app settings
None of this is sent to the developer, and it is deleted when you delete the app.
2. Notifications
Closed-day reminders are scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to a server to deliver them.
3. Photos
When you fill in a restaurant’s days off from a screenshot, the app only receives the photo you pick. The text in it is read on your device using Apple’s Vision framework, and neither the photo nor the text is sent anywhere.
The app asks for permission to add to your photo library only when you save a closed-day card image or video. It does not read any other photos in your library.
4. Importing a restaurant from a Naver Map link
When you paste a link shared from Naver Map, the app connects directly to that link and to the restaurant’s Naver Place page to read its name, address and regular days off. As with any website visit, Naver may receive connection details such as your IP address, and Naver’s privacy policy applies to that request. It does not pass through any server run by the developer.
5. Location
DontGoMart does not request or collect your location. You choose your stores from a list.
6. Tips (in-app purchases)
Coffee, cake and meal tips are processed by Apple through in-app purchase, and the developer never sees your payment method or payment details. Your tip count and whether to show the supporter badge are saved in your own iCloud key-value storage so they carry over to your other devices. This data is protected by your Apple Account and the developer cannot see it.
7. Announcements
To check whether the developer has posted a notice, the app reads it from a public Apple CloudKit database. No information about you is sent in the process.
8. Feedback
When you send feedback from the app, the following is sent to the developer’s CloudKit database (iCloud.com.Ysoup.FeedbackHub) and used only to reply and improve the app.
- What you wrote and the type of feedback
- App version, device model, iOS version, and language and region settings
- Your name and email, only if you enter them, so we can reply
Feedback is sent only when you tap send.
9. Anonymous usage statistics
To understand how the app is actually used, it sends anonymous statistics to the developer’s CloudKit database (iCloud.com.Ysoup.FeedbackHub).
- A random install number created when you install the app (not linked to your name, Apple Account or device identifiers, and gone when you delete the app)
- App version, iOS version, language and region settings, number of launches, days since install, and the days you opened the app
- How many stores you track, how many stores you added, whether reminders are on and how many days ahead, and how many times you have tipped
- The names of key actions, such as sharing, opening the calendar, changing stores, saving a custom store, turning on reminders and completing a tip
Store and restaurant names, addresses, links, photos, your name, email and location are never sent. Statistics are sent at most once every 12 hours, and each kind of action at most once every 6 hours.
10. Third parties
DontGoMart uses no advertising, ad networks, or third-party analytics or tracking tools. Your information is handled only by the Apple services described above (CloudKit, iCloud, in-app purchase and on-device frameworks) and by Naver when you paste a link. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties.
11. Retention and deletion
Information stored on your device disappears when you delete it in the app or delete the app. Your tip record in iCloud can be managed in Settings under your Apple Account and iCloud. To have feedback you sent deleted, email us at the address below.
12. Children’s privacy
DontGoMart does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
