Privacy Policy

Yeoul does not collect personal information. There is no sign-up, no advertising and no tracking. Your timelines and photos are stored only on your devices and in your own iCloud, and the developer cannot see them. To learn how many devices use the app and to fix errors, only anonymous usage counts and crash reports reach the developer (section 4).

1. What the app stores

The app stores the following information that you enter yourself, on your device (SwiftData).

• Timeline names and colors
• Event dates, titles, notes, tags and card designs
• Photos attached to events (resized so the long edge is 1200 px)
• The date you first opened the app and how many times you have opened it. This is used only for the anonymous usage counts in section 4.

2. iCloud sync

When your device is signed in to iCloud, these records are also stored in your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) and stay in sync with your other devices on the same Apple Account. This space belongs to you and the developer cannot access it. Apple's Privacy Policy also applies to this processing. On a device that is not signed in to iCloud, records stay on that device only.

3. Photo access

• When you tap Find related photos, the app asks for access to your photo library so it can show photos taken on the event's date. Searching by date happens only on your device, and nothing from your library is sent anywhere.
• Browse uses the system photo picker, so it works without any permission, and only the photos you choose enter the app.
• You can change or turn off this permission at any time in the iOS Settings app. The rest of the app keeps working without it.

4. Anonymous usage counts

To learn how many people use the app and to fix errors, the iPhone app sends the following anonymous data to Apple iCloud (CloudKit). It is stored in the developer's space, not in your iCloud, and only the developer can read it.

• A random ID created at installation (not linked to your device, Apple Account or other apps, and replaced when you reinstall)
• App version, iOS version, region and language settings
• How many times and on which days you opened the app, the install date and the number of days since installation
• Crash reports when the app freezes or quits unexpectedly (app version, iOS version, device type and technical error details)

It does not include your name, contacts, location, or any content such as timelines, events or photos. It is sent only while you are signed in to iCloud.

Feedback sent from the app. If you send feedback with Send Feedback in Settings, the text you write, your name and email if you enter them, and your app version, iOS version and device type are stored in the same developer space (Apple iCloud). They are used only to reply and to improve the app, and are sent only when you tap Send. To have them deleted, contact us as described in section 9.

5. Third parties and tracking

The app contains no third-party code such as ad networks, analytics tools or crash-reporting tools. The statistics in section 4 are sent to Apple iCloud by a shared library built by the developer (LeeoKit), without passing through any other company. We do not track you, and we do not sell your information or share it with other companies.

6. Retention and deletion

• You can delete timelines and events in the app. Deleting them also removes them from your other devices synced through iCloud.
• Deleting the app removes the records stored on the device. Copies left in iCloud can be removed under iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage.
• The developer does not keep your records, so we cannot view or restore them for you.

7. Children

This app is not directed at children and, regardless of age, does not collect anyone's personal information.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
