About Malmun
Malmun helps you practise real conversations through branching dialogues. Choose a language to learn — Indonesian, English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish or Korean — and use the app itself in any of those same six languages.
Branching small talk
The conversation goes where your answers take it. Practise by reading and tapping, or by speaking out loud.

In every language: the basics, casual chat, restaurants, getting around, the airport, hotels, shopping, sightseeing and emergencies.

Commute Mode
Practise by ear in the car over Bluetooth or CarPlay. The audio plays through your car speakers and the sentence appears in Now Playing. You hear the meaning, then a chime, then it's your turn to say it, and finally the answer, slowly and at normal speed. There's no separate CarPlay app screen.
Hands-free control
Use the next, previous and play buttons on your steering wheel, or speak during your turn: next, again, slower, faster, next scene, stop. Say the line correctly and you'll hear "Nice!". Start it with Siri, or automatically with a Shortcuts automation when you connect to the car.
Practice tools
Pronunciation practice with a score, script view, importing dialogues by pasting them in, and practice history.

Save the phrases you pick up and revise vocabulary with flashcards that read the words aloud.
Phrase keyboard
See the meaning, tap once, and the sentence is typed out in the language you're learning.
