Palang Book

Trace page by page, and watch your drawing come to life.

Palang Book is a flipbook animation app for kids on iPad. Children trace a light guide drawing one page at a time, then press play: the guide disappears and only their own drawing moves. Every button is a picture, so even kids who can’t read yet can use it on their own, with a finger or Apple Pencil.

What’s inside

• 10 trace-along sets
A bouncing ball, a hopping bunny, a flying bird, a swimming fish, a blooming flower, a butterfly, a racing car, a rocket, a frog and a pinwheel. Each set has about 20 guide pages, and the previous page shows faintly underneath, so the next drawing is easy to line up.
• Draw over your own videos
Shoot a video with the camera, pick one from the Photos app, or open a link to a video file, then trace over it. Hide the background and only the pages you drew play back, on clean white paper.
• Blank flipbook
No guide, just white pages. Draw, turn the page, and build a flipbook from scratch.
• Stamps and colors
Heart, circle, square, triangle, star, flower, car and bird stamps in three sizes, ten colors and three brush sizes, plus an eraser, undo, and a button that clears the whole page.
• Record a voice
Tap the microphone and the animation loops while your child’s voice is recorded right into it.
• Save to Photos
Finished animations are saved as videos in the Photos app, ready to share with family.
• Your drawings stay on the iPad
No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Drawings and recordings never leave the device.

Free to try, one Lifetime Pass

Without paying, you can use 3 trace-along sets, keep 3 works, bring in 1 video, draw up to 10 pages in a blank flipbook and record up to 15 seconds of voice. The Lifetime Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks everything for good. It’s not a subscription, and it works with Family Sharing. The purchase screen only opens after a grown-up solves a quick math question.
