Don’t finish a thought in one go — pause it, pick it up again, and refine it
When his writing was going well, Hemingway would deliberately stop for the day in the middle of a sentence. The next morning, that unfinished sentence made it easy to start writing again. ThinkFlow brings this method to thinking. Jot down whatever comes to mind, and when you stop, leave a bridge sentence for where to pick up. The next time you open the app, you carry on right from that sentence.
Pour out everything floating around in your head, one line at a time, then choose the thoughts worth growing and turn them into threads.
When you end a thinking session, write the unfinished sentence you’ll continue from next time. When you come back, the context you left off in is restored right away.
Refine your thinking by lifting your notes through four layers: note, refined, key point and summary.
Keep answers you got from Claude or material you found in a search in the same thought flow, clearly separate from your own thinking.
A Home Screen widget always shows your bridge sentence, and during a thinking session a timer appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
All of your thoughts are stored only on your device. They are never sent to a server, and not even the developer can see them. The only thing that ever leaves your device is what you send yourself with “Send Feedback” in Settings. You can find more details in the Privacy Policy.
Use the Export menu in the top-right corner of the home screen to export all your thoughts as a Markdown or JSON file. Share it to Files, Notes, Mail or wherever you like to keep it safe.
Deleting the app also deletes every thought stored on your device. Export a backup before you delete it.
Widgets refresh at least every 30 minutes, and adding a thought in the app requests an immediate refresh. If what you see looks out of date, open the app once.
