What it does
A to-do list cannot tell you whether the week holds it. You have to put things down and look.
Drag onto a day
Drag a to-do from the list onto a day and it becomes a plan block. Blocks can be moved, resized and deleted.
Fixed routines
Lay down sleep, meals and work first. Whatever is left is the time you can actually use.
Day timeline
Open a day across 24 hours. You can see at once where the gaps are and where things collide.
Splitting a to-do into steps
A big job usually stalls not because you are lazy, but because something is still in the way before you can touch it.
The app asks two questions about every step.
- Can you start without spinning up? Work that makes you load the context back in will spend a whole five-minute gap just starting.
- Does it finish within five minutes? Unfinished work leaves residue that eats into the next block of time.
Answer yes to both and it is a fragment: something you can pick up whenever five minutes open up. Anything else needs time you have protected. The app answers first from the wording and the length, and you can overturn it whenever it is wrong.
Works with your iPhone
On the same iCloud account, Rainbow Workshop connects with the iOS app Rainbow of Desire. To-dos written on your Mac appear on your iPhone, and the other way round.
Writing on this Mac is free. Pro covers only sending what you write here over to your iPhone.
Questions
Do I need to be signed in to iCloud?
Not to use it alone on one Mac. You need it to connect with your iPhone and to use sharing.
What happens to what I already wrote?
It stays exactly as it is. Nothing you wrote is changed or deleted by an update.
Does closing the window quit the app?
No. The app stays open and you can bring the window back from the Window menu, or by clicking the Dock icon.
Does the app change my calendar?
Never. Import from Calendar only reads the calendars you chose. It does not write to them or change them.
The app is in Korean. How do I get English?
The app follows your Mac's language. Set System Settings, General, Language & Region to English and reopen the app. Your own routine names and to-dos are never translated.
