MyFi

Share and join Wi-Fi the easy way

No more spelling out passwords. One QR code does it.

iOS 17.0 or later · iPhone

Made for moments like these

You read the Wi-Fi password out to a guest and they mistype it. You copy the password from a sign on the café wall and get one letter wrong. You explain the same password again and again. MyFi turns all of that into one QR code and one photo.

Features

🔗

Share your Wi-Fi as a QR code

MyFi detects the name of the network you are on. Enter the password once and a standard Wi-Fi QR code (WIFI:S:…;T:WPA;P:…;;) is ready. Others just point the built-in camera of their iPhone or Android phone at it to join.

📷

Snap to connect

Photograph the Wi-Fi sign at a café or a rental, or pick a photo from your library. On-device text recognition fills in the network name and password. Tap Connect this phone and you are online.

🖼️

Make a guest Wi-Fi sign

Design a Wi-Fi sign for your shop with 7 themes. Add your shop name and logo, choose a card for screens and social media or a portrait A4 poster for printing, then save it as an image, share it, or print it straight away with AirPrint. You can keep as many signs as you like.

🧩

Home Screen widget

Put the QR code of a Wi-Fi network you use often on a Home Screen widget. When a guest asks, just show them the screen. No need to open the app.

📍

Places you return to come first

MyFi remembers where you joined or shared each network. When you come back to the same place, that network moves to the top of the list. You can also see your saved places on a map.

📱

A QR code for your hotspot too

Your iPhone's Personal Hotspot is your phone itself, so it cannot join it. MyFi marks hotspots separately and makes a QR code to hand out instead of trying to connect.

Your data stays on your device

MyFi has no server. Wi-Fi names and passwords, text read from photos, and locations are processed and stored only on your device and are never sent anywhere. There are no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking. Only anonymous usage statistics and crash reports are sent to Apple iCloud to help improve the app.
