App: Toesagak · Effective date: 10 September 2026

Summary: Toesagak has no sign-up and does not collect or store your financial data on the developer’s servers. Your data is stored on your device, and also in your own iCloud account only if you turn on iCloud sync.

1. Information collected and stored

All financial data you enter, such as assets, debts, income, expenses and goals, is stored solely on your device (Apple SwiftData). No third party, including the developer, can access it, and there is no account to create or log in to. The app does not collect personally identifying information such as your name, email address or phone number.

iCloud sync (optional): If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, the same financial data is also stored in the iCloud private database of your own Apple Account and synced to your other devices on that account. Only you can access this database; the developer cannot see its contents. If you turn it off, later changes are stored only on your device.

2. Information sent out when fetching prices

When you use automatic price lookup, the lookup identifiers you enter (stock codes, tickers, coin symbols, legal district codes) are sent to the external services below to retrieve current prices.

Only the identifier being looked up is sent. Personal financial information such as quantities held, valuations or total assets, and identity information, are never sent. Requests sent to each service are handled under that service’s own privacy policy.

3. Importing screenshots

The feature that adds holdings from a brokerage screenshot uses Apple’s on-device Vision framework to recognize the image entirely on your device. Neither the image nor the recognition results are sent anywhere or stored.

4. Advertising, tracking and anonymous usage statistics

The app shows no ads, uses no commercial analytics SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

To understand whether the app is actually being used, however, it sends anonymous usage statistics to the developer’s iCloud (CloudKit) storage. This is everything they include:

No amounts are sent. The numbers and holding names you enter, such as assets, debts, income, expenses and net worth, never leave the device in any form. Statistics contain no personally identifying information such as name, email, phone number or device identifier; they are grouped only by a random install identifier (UUID) unrelated to your device or account. If you delete and reinstall the app, a new identifier is created and is not linked to earlier records.

5. Sending feedback

If you send feedback via “Send Feedback” in Settings, what you write (feedback type, message, any attached screenshot, and a name and email if you leave them for a reply) together with the app version, device type, OS version and language setting is delivered to the developer through Apple iCloud (CloudKit) storage. It is used only to reply and to improve the app; nothing is sent unless you send it. Name and email are optional.

6. Error diagnostics

If the app crashes or freezes, it sends part of the diagnostic information iOS generates on your device (MetricKit), namely the code location of the error (call stack), app version, OS version and device type, to iCloud (CloudKit) storage to help fix the problem. It contains no financial data, no personally identifying information and no install identifier.

7. In-app purchases

Purchases and restores of “Toesagak Pro” are handled by Apple’s App Store. Payment details such as your payment method are never passed to the developer; the app only checks on your device whether you have purchased (your entitlement).

8. App Lock (Face ID · Touch ID)

When App Lock is on, Apple’s biometric authentication confirms it’s you. Authentication is handled by iOS, and the app never accesses or stores face or fingerprint data.

9. Data retention and deletion

Because data is stored on your device, deleting the app also deletes the data on your device. If you use iCloud Backup on your device, those backups follow Apple’s device backup policy. If you had iCloud sync turned on, you can delete the data remaining in iCloud by removing the “Toesagak” data under iOS Settings ▸ Apple Account ▸ iCloud ▸ Manage Account Storage.

10. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
