Summary: SlideSnap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your captured or imported photos, recognized text, and presentation data are stored only on your device and are never sent to any server. There is no account, login, tracking, or advertising identifier.
SlideSnap collects no personally identifiable information. There is no sign-up or login, and we do not collect usage or analytics data.
Camera access is used solely to photograph slides. Captured images are saved only in on-device storage and are never transmitted.
When importing existing photos, the app uses the iOS photo picker (PHPicker), which passes only the photos you explicitly select. The app does not access your full photo library.
To enable text search, the app recognizes text using Apple's Vision framework. This processing happens entirely on-device; no image or recognized text leaves your device.
All data (original and corrected images, thumbnails, presentation titles, recognized text) is stored within the app's on-device storage. Deleting the app removes this data. Deleting a slide or presentation in the app removes the related files from your device.
When you export images or PDFs, they are shared only to destinations you choose via the iOS share sheet. This happens entirely at your discretion; the app does not transmit data on its own.
SlideSnap contains no third-party analytics, ad networks, or external SDKs. No data is shared with any third party.
