Summary: Your slides, recordings, transcripts and summaries stay on your device. They only leave it when you turn on iCloud Sync (they go to your own private iCloud, which we cannot see) or when you share them yourself. We collect anonymous usage statistics with no personal information, and we receive feedback only when you send it. There are no ads, no tracking and no account.
Photos you capture or import, straightened images, recognized slide text, audio recordings, transcripts, AI summaries and presentation titles are stored in the app's storage on your device. Deleting a slide, recording or presentation removes its files, and deleting the app removes everything.
The camera is used only to capture slides. Images are saved on your device.
Importing uses the iOS photo picker or the share sheet, so the app receives only the photos you choose. It never reads your whole photo library.
If you turn on Record in the camera, the microphone records the talk while you capture slides, so you can replay what was said on each slide. Recording happens only while Record is on and is saved on your device.
Slide text is recognized with Apple's Vision framework. Recordings are transcribed with Apple's on-device speech recognition. AI Summary uses Apple Intelligence's on-device model. All of this runs on your device; images, audio and text are not sent to us or to any other server. The first time you transcribe a language, iOS may download that language's speech model from Apple.
If you turn on iCloud Sync, your presentations, slide images, recordings, transcripts and summaries are stored in the private database of your iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit, so you can see them on your other devices. This data is protected by your Apple Account and is not accessible to us. It uses your iCloud storage. Turning sync off stops syncing; data already in iCloud stays in your iCloud.
If you enter a name and email in My Info, they are kept in your iCloud key-value storage to sync between your devices. They are attached to feedback only when you send feedback, so we can reply.
When you send feedback, we receive your message, the app version, device model, OS version and language, plus the name and email from My Info if you entered them. Feedback is stored in our CloudKit database and used only to respond and improve the app.
To understand how the app is used, it sends anonymous statistics to our CloudKit database: a random install ID that is not linked to you, your Apple Account or your device, the app version, platform, OS version, language, launch and activity counts, install date, the number of presentations and slides, and names of key actions (for example, merging presentations). No slide content, recordings, text or personal information is included.
Images, PDFs, Markdown and PowerPoint files are sent only to the places you choose in the iOS share sheet.
There are no ads, ad networks, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Data is processed only by Apple services (CloudKit, iCloud and on-device frameworks) as described above. We do not sell or share your data.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Anonymous statistics contain no personal information.
You can turn off Record, keep iCloud Sync off, leave My Info empty and choose not to send feedback. To ask us to delete feedback you sent, email us.
