요약. 이 앱은 계정이 없습니다. 찍은 사진과 색은 기기와 이용자 본인의 iCloud에만 보관되며, 개발자는 그 어느 쪽도 열어볼 수 없습니다.
개발자에게 가는 것은 셋뿐입니다 — 익명 사용 통계, 이용자가 직접 보낸 피드백, 크래시 기록. 사진과 색은 여기에 들어가지 않습니다. 광고, 추적, 제3자 분석 SDK는 쓰지 않습니다.
1. 사진과 기록
앱에서 촬영하거나 앨범에서 고른 사진, 그 사진에서 뽑아낸 색, 촬영 시각, 적어 넣은 한 줄은 기기 안의 앱 저장소에 보관됩니다. 개발자에게 전송되지 않고, 개발자의 서버로 올라가지 않습니다. 개발자는 서버를 운영하지 않습니다.
iCloud 보관
기기에 Apple 계정이 로그인되어 있으면, 이 기록은 이용자 본인의 iCloud(Apple의 CloudKit 비공개 데이터베이스)에도 함께 보관됩니다. 기기를 잃어버리거나 앱을 지웠다 다시 깔아도 모아둔 하늘이 돌아오게 하기 위한 것입니다.
- 보관되는 곳은 이용자의 iCloud 계정이며, 개발자의 서버가 아닙니다. 개발자는 이 데이터를 열람할 수 없고 사본을 갖지 않습니다.
- 같은 Apple 계정으로 로그인한 이용자 본인의 기기끼리만 오갑니다. 다른 이용자에게 공개되지 않으며, 공유·게시 기능 자체가 없습니다.
- 앱 안에서 기록을 지우면 iCloud에 있는 사본도 함께 지워집니다.
- 차지하는 용량은 이용자의 iCloud 저장 용량에 포함됩니다.
- iCloud에 로그인하지 않았거나 설정에서 이 앱의 iCloud를 꺼두면, 앱은 예전처럼 기기 안에만 저장하며 그대로 동작합니다.
이 보관은 Apple의 처리방침을 따릅니다 — Apple 개인정보 보호 정책. 기기 백업(iCloud 또는 컴퓨터 백업)을 켜두셨다면 이 저장소도 백업에 포함될 수 있으며, 그 백업 역시 Apple 계정에 속하고 개발자는 접근할 수 없습니다.
2. 위치
위치는 두 가지에만 쓰입니다.
- 그 자리의 일출·일몰 시각을 계산해, 판의 기준 하늘색이 제 시간에 오게 하는 것
- 그 자리의 오늘 시간별 예보(구름·비)를 받아오는 것
정확도는 킬로미터 단위로만 요청합니다. 마지막 좌표는 기기 안에 저장되며, 사진에 붙지 않고 개발자에게 전송되지 않습니다.
예보를 받기 위해 이 대략적인 좌표가 Apple의 날씨 서비스(WeatherKit)로 전송됩니다. 이 전송은 Apple의 처리방침을 따릅니다 — Apple 개인정보 보호 정책, Apple Weather 고지.
위치 권한을 거부해도 앱은 그대로 동작합니다. 이때는 기본 좌표(서울)로 색을 계산하고, 예보 없이 맑은 하늘 기준으로 그립니다.
3. 카메라와 사진 앨범
카메라는 하늘을 촬영할 때만 켜집니다. 앨범에서는 이용자가 직접 고른 사진 한 장만 읽어 들이며, 앨범 전체를 훑지 않습니다. 앱이 이용자의 앨범에 사진을 저장하지도 않습니다.
4. 사용 통계와 피드백
앱을 만드는 사람이 앱이 어떻게 쓰이는지 전혀 모르면, 고쳐야 할 것을 고칠 수 없습니다. 그래서 세 가지만 받습니다. 셋 다 개발자의 CloudKit 공개 데이터베이스로 가며, 별도의 서버는 여전히 없습니다.
익명 사용 통계
- 보내는 것: 앱을 몇 번 열었는지, 앱 버전, iOS 버전, 기기 종류.
- 설치를 구분하는 값은 기기·계정과 아무 상관이 없는 무작위 번호입니다. 앱을 지웠다 다시 깔면 새 번호가 되고, 다른 앱이나 광고 식별자와 이어붙일 수 없습니다.
- 사진, 색, 촬영 시각, 적어 넣은 한 줄, 위치는 보내지 않습니다.
- 이용자를 특정하거나 추적하는 데 쓰지 않으며, 다른 회사에 넘기지 않습니다.
피드백
설정 → 지원 → 피드백 보내기로 직접 보낼 때만 전송됩니다. 적으신 내용과 앱·기기 버전이 함께 갑니다. 회신받을 이름과 이메일은 적으실 때만 전송되고, 비워 두면 아예 기록되지 않습니다.
크래시 기록
앱이 죽거나 멈추면 iOS가 나중에 한 번에 묶어 주는 진단 정보(어디서 죽었는지, 앱·iOS 버전, 기기 종류)를 받습니다. 설치 식별자조차 붙이지 않습니다.
5. 수집하지 않는 것
- 이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 계정 — 로그인 자체가 없습니다. (피드백에 회신처를 직접 적어 넣으신 경우만 예외입니다)
- 사진, 색, 촬영 시각, 적어 넣은 한 줄 — 위 4번의 어디에도 들어가지 않습니다
- 위치 — 통계에도 피드백에도 붙지 않습니다
- 광고 식별자, 추적, 프로파일링, 제3자 분석 SDK — 쓰지 않습니다
- 수집한 것을 다른 회사에 팔거나 넘기는 일 — 하지 않습니다
6. 보관과 삭제
기록은 이용자가 지울 때까지 남습니다. 사진을 열어 지우기를 누르거나 기록 화면에서 왼쪽으로 밀면 그 기록이 기기에서도 iCloud에서도 지워집니다.
앱을 삭제하면 기기 안의 저장소와 좌표는 사라지지만, iCloud에 보관된 사본은 남습니다 — 다시 설치하면 돌아오게 하려는 것이 이 기능의 목적이기 때문입니다. 완전히 지우려면 앱 안에서 기록을 지우거나, iOS 설정 → Apple 계정 → iCloud → 저장 공간 관리에서 이 앱의 데이터를 삭제하시면 됩니다.
개발자가 가진 사본은 없으므로 개발자에게 하는 별도의 삭제 요청 절차는 필요하지 않습니다.
7. 아동
이 앱은 어떤 이용자로부터도 개인정보를 수집하지 않으며, 아동으로부터도 수집하지 않습니다.
8. 변경
방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지를 고치고 위의 시행일을 갱신합니다. 변경 이력은 GitHub 커밋 기록에 그대로 남습니다.
9. 문의
Summary in English
하늘색 (SkyDex) has no accounts and no server of its own. Three things reach the developer, all through the developer's own CloudKit public database: anonymous usage counts, feedback you choose to send, and crash reports. Your photos, colours, notes and location are in none of them. There is no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party analytics SDK.
The usage record is a random number unrelated to your device or Apple Account, plus how many times the app was opened and which app and iOS versions are running. Reinstalling makes a new number, and it cannot be joined to any advertising identifier or to any other app. Feedback is sent only when you tap Send Feedback; a reply name and email are recorded only if you type them. Crash reports are the diagnostics iOS batches up for the developer and carry no installation identifier at all. Nothing collected is sold or passed to anyone else.
Photos you take or pick, the colour extracted from them, the capture time and any note you write are kept in the app's own storage on your device. They are never sent to the developer, who runs no server.
If you are signed in to iCloud, the same records are also kept in your own iCloud (Apple's CloudKit private database), so your collection survives losing the phone or reinstalling the app. That data lives in your Apple account, not on any server of ours: the developer cannot read it and holds no copy of it. It moves only between your own devices signed in to the same Apple account — there is no sharing or publishing feature in the app at all. Deleting an entry in the app deletes the iCloud copy too, and the storage it uses counts against your iCloud quota. If you are not signed in to iCloud, or you turn this app off under iCloud in Settings, the app keeps everything on the device and works exactly as before.
Location is requested at kilometre accuracy and used only to (a) compute local sunrise and sunset so the board's reference colours land at the right time of day, and (b) fetch today's hourly cloud and rain forecast. The coarse coordinate is stored on the device, is never attached to a photo, and is never sent to the developer. It is sent to Apple's WeatherKit service to retrieve the forecast, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Denying location permission is fine: the app falls back to a default coordinate and a clear-sky reference.
Deleting an entry in the app removes it from the device and from iCloud. Deleting the app removes the on-device storage but leaves the iCloud copy, so that reinstalling brings your collection back; to remove that too, delete the entries in the app or remove the app's data under Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage.
