❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Please check the leave year start month and total annual leave days in Settings. Half-days (0.5) and quarter-days (0.25) are automatically deducted. Non-deducting types such as sick leave, official leave, and business trips do not affect your leave balance. If the issue persists, please contact us.
Cancelled leave entries are not displayed on the calendar. Please check the status of the entry in the Add Leave tab. Updating to the latest version may also resolve the issue.
You can add bonus leave in the Bonus Leave section at the bottom of the Add Leave tab. Select the type (compensatory, reward, refresh, etc.), enter the number of days, and set an optional expiration date. Bonus leave is managed separately from regular annual leave.
Please tap the Restore Purchases button at the bottom of the Settings tab. The restore will use the Apple ID currently signed in to the App Store. If the issue is not resolved, please contact us via email.
App data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app will permanently remove all data. We recommend keeping iCloud Backup enabled to protect your data.
Yes. In the Holiday Management menu within Settings, you can add your own custom holidays or hide default public holidays.
We currently support public holidays for South Korea, the United States, Japan, and China. Changing the country in Settings will update the holidays shown on your calendar.

Information We Collect

LeaveWise does not collect personal information. All data you enter — including your name, leave settings, and leave records — is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

Third-Party Services

We use Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchase processing. Purchase-related data is handled according to Apple's Privacy Policy. No third-party analytics tools or advertising SDKs are used.

Data Security

All data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. If iCloud Backup is enabled, your data is protected by Apple's encryption policies.
